Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company mainly known as IVM produces it first electric car. The Nigerian No. 1 automobile Company has its headquarters located in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State. Chief Innocent Chukwuma Nwala was the founder of IVM in the year, 1981.
Pride Of African Roads is the nickname given to Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing. The company has indeed made Africans proud, a few months ago, they released their Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Motor known as IVM 6110 Bus a 54-seater and 46 standing has gotten the attention of the public and the government. This is a suitable alternative to the present fuel challenge faced by Nigerians.
Earlier this month, IVM just released a video clip of their first made-in-Nigeria electric vehicle manufactured in their plant in Nnewi, Anambra State.
