American singer Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, famously known as Beyoncé, shares how hard it is for her to keep her privacy while raising her three children. Beyoncé is married to Jay-Z, a popular American rapper, and they have been together for 16 years. The celebrity couple has 3 kids together: Blue Ivy, who is 12 years old, and their twins, Sir and Rumi, 6 years old.
During an interview conducted for GQ Magazine's October cover feature, the singer of "Single Ladies" disclosed her challenge of striking a balance between privacy and normalcy.
Beyoncé said, "We live in a world of access."
She continued by stating that modern technology has advanced beyond what it was when she was just in a relationship with her spouse and how it has affected their private lives.
She states, “We have access to so much information—some facts and some complete bullshit disguised as truth. Our children can FaceTime and see their friends at any given moment.”
She also talked about how she recently heard a song composed by AI that sounded so much like her. And this new development scares the daylights out of her.
She also stated how she and her husband have worked so hard to keep their kids out of media and ensure they have as much normalcy and privacy as possible. She spoke about how she made sure her private life was separated from her work and how she didn’t allow her personal life to be turned into a brand.
As stated, “I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace.”
